Screenwriter's Commentary by Rikki Elizabeth Stinnette
1h 16m
The chance to write THE SCREENWRITERS came as a complete surprise to Rikki Elizabeth Stinnette. She was interning with Advent Film Group during her “gap year” between high school and college. At 20 years old, Rikki had been writing screenplays for five years. At a staff meeting, Advent founder George Escobar told about producing a high-quality, student-made film about a couple of screenwriters in old Hollywood who have to write a script in 24 hours.… Rikki was completely absorbed in the story when Escobar turned to her and asked if she would write it.
And the rest is history. Watch this commentary from the writer of THE SCREENWRITERS and learn some of the process she undertook to create an old-fashioned 'love note' to the Hollywood's Golden Age.
