The Making of THE SCREENWRITERS
8m 26s
Making THE SCREENWRITERS was a major achievement for the cast and crew who banded together in recreating the sound, manners, and atmosphere of a studio in 1940's Hollywood, all for $20,000 production budget. That's equivalent to one day's catering budget for a Superhero Hollywood movie.
The work was a labor or love for everyone involved. For Advent Film Group, this was proof that its training model works: Learn how to 'make a feature film' by making feature films, without having to go to expensive film schools. The department leads for THE SCREENWRITERS received their start and training by working on previous Advent films such as COME WHAT MAY, HERO, and ALONE YET NOT ALONE (made for Enthuse Entertainment).
In short, this was their 'graduation picture' and we're honored to share the wonderful experience of making this movie with you.
